You guys are going to have such an amazing time being in the bigger campus.You guys will make so many new friend and all the teacher are super nice.One thing i will tell you is that the ILT's are so much fun and so are the outings.You guys are gonna have such a good adventurer being in an older grade.

Grade 6 email etiquette

I have learnt a lot about how to write an email. Thank you to all my teachers for teaching me this. Let me give you a short run down of what I have learnt during this process. The first thing I learnt is that you should not use slang, it is really disrespectful to an adult, but if it is your friend and if it is fine with them that's ok you may go ahead. The second thing is you should always be kind and respectful when you are writing an email to anybody. These are the last few points that you will need to know, keep it to the point, always include a subject. Be professional and last but not least use the right punctuation.

Superhero ILT

JUST ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO WE DID A SUPERHERO INTEGRATED LEARNING TASK , WE GOT SPLIT UP INTO GROUPS OF TWO BUT THERE WAS ONE GROUP OF THREE. TWO OF MY FRIENDS ARE IN MY CLASS,WE ALWAYS DO ROCK PAPER SCISSORS TO SEE WHO DOES WITH WHO.SO WE HAD DONE ROCK PAPER SCISSORS AND I LOST SO BOTH OF MY FRIENDS WENT TOGETHER,THEN MY TEACHER SAID THAT WE ARE GOING IN THE GROUP OF THREE . WE WHERE SO EXITED AND WE COULD NT STOP THANKING OUR TEACHER. THE NEXT DAY WE STARTED TO MAKE OUR CHARACTER OUT OF PLASTICINE WE DECIDED TO CALL OUR CHARACTER CREEPY CRAWLER , WE DECIDED TO CALL HIM CREEPY CRAWLER BECAUSE HE HAS MECHANICAL TENTACLES ON HIS BACK AND HE USES HEM TO CRAWL. HIS IDENTICAL SYMBOL IS TWO C'S TURNED AROUND THE REASON WE DID HAT IS BECAUSE HIS FIRST AND SECOND NAME STARTS WITH A C AND OUR SYMBOL ARE TWO C'S TURNED AROUND. OUR SUPERHERO DOES NT HAVE ANY POWERS BUT HE HAS MECHANICAL TENTACLES ON HIS BACK. THE BEST FEATURE I THINK ARE HIS MANIACAL TENTACLES BECAUSE HE COULD USE IT TO BRING THINGS DOWN FROM THE SKY AND HE CAN HOLD FIVE THINGS AT A TIME. IF I HAD TO RECREATE MY CHARACTER I WOULD GIVE HIM LASER EYES AND WHEN EVER HE TAPED HIS BELT GUNS WOULD COME OUT OF HIS TENTACLES. Sebastian and by the way Tristan was the one that broke the rula.LOL 

A day in the life and home of children in an informal settlement

Wednesday 

This morning I woke up and I felt extremely icy. I got out of my bed and I got dressed for school.I was super exited to go to school this morning because, my teacher Mrs Volloo told us we were going to learn a new subject today. So I got my bike and went to say good by to my mom and dad.   then when I went out side and a stream of water splashed into our house. I tried to close the door but there was so much fours I could not close the door I called my dad and asked him to help me. He ran as fast as he could and he eventually he slammed the door closed. Then My dad said we must get buckets and get the water out as fast as we could .No ,I shouted all my clothes were getting wet and,my new shoes my mom had bought for me. I thought to myself why can’t we live in a normal house and why can’t I go to a normal school. Then I prayed and I asked god to protect us and to keep us safe and I said thank you lord that we are fortunate enough to even have a house.

Later that day

I apologized to my mom and dad for letting all the water in the house ,and they forgave me for what I did. I was so disappointed that I could not go to school I was looking so forward to learning those new subjects . It was becoming night now and there was still a lot of water outside .Then my mom and dad told me I have to go to bead right now that I can wake up early tomorrow. Because every two days I have to bath.So I said good night to my mom and dad and just as I was about to get in bed but then We heard deafening crack ! it came from the roof I got extremely scared when I heard that I asked my dad what is that he said the roof was about to collapse, then ....

The singing inspector 

Last week the singing inspector came to our school. We called him Mr Raymond he wore these  big and bulky pants and they went up to his knees. He was also wearing long socks that also went up to his knees ,he wore a green hat and a bright red tie .He then said “what can you sing”. Ah ah ah “I’m listening he said ,can you sing doh ray me .No sir we can’t sing doh ray me . Then what can you sing, uh, we can sing pretty Polly. “Sing it then” ok yes sir Raymond .

 then we began to sing Charles sang pretty Polly pretty Polly what the o’clock then I sang in a high kind of voice pretty Polly pretty Polly. I think I sang ok because I was very nervous. when I was in the middle of my song Mr r shouted, that was the worst sing I have ever heard I came all the way hear to listen to two idiots sing send them out he commanded.

What is happening in middle school #verryfunny#

ILT .In February the 28 we started an ILT and if you don t know what that means it is an integrated learning task.We had to do it on soil creatures me and my partner dissided to do the pink fairy armadillo ,it was a grate experience,we had to make a poster on our creature so we got pink card board yellow sheets of paper a scissors ,pencils glue .ex. We had thepree days to finish our poster ,and then we had to do an oral on our creature.Me and my partner had our upside downs because we did not know what actions to do we had tried so hard but nothing would work.And then we spit up and had about 10 minutes to rethink and when we got back together we had so much to do our oral was very funny our teacher even left .We were aloud to dress up in a costume to give it character.all of the posters where spectacular one even had a clay mold on it to make it,look interesting I could see that everyone tried so so hard.It so amazing how two people meet each other and become best friends as soon as they meet.It is nice just seeing people become friends and if you do ILT ‘s at school you should really appreciate it.

CAMP. So in two days time our whole 5th grade are going to camp the whole grade is existed.But that’s not all tethered are going to be swimming pools jungle Jim’s forests we are going to have soooooooo much fun .But wait so last week Thursday we wrote down names of the kids we wanted to sleep with , I wrote down Jaerd,Tristan,Andre,Chase,Zach and Nick and guess what I got all of them so that means all of them are in my tent with me

Wait for next time when I come back from camp it will be even more interesting
